If you say "Hawke's bay" here, everyone will answer "wine trail". All the region around us is full of grape fields and wineries. Beeing here since a while, we've never been to any, even if we're starting to know what a grapes field looks like by now....

A little surprising town, on the main road. A nice local initiative, based on the works of Steven Clothier : corrugated iron ! All shops have their signs, and the tourist office is ... a dog ! Just look at the pictures.

Pour ceux qui n'auraient pas tout suivi ( pas bien ! ), notre van nous a lache. Coinces dans un petit bled paume, l'achat d'un nouveau vehicule semblait indispensable. Nous voila donc, en bus, partis pour la grande ville, ou l'on pensait trouver notre...

We finished grape picking two days ago. Season is almost finished. But i did took the time to take some pictures. Not that much. One bad thing about grapes ? Grape juice is sticky. your fingers are dirty. Cameras don't like dirty fingers ... Good things...
